New Vaccine Recommendations Included in CDC’s 2024 Immunization Schedule

New vaccine recommendations for children, adolescents, and adults have been incorporated into Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) 2024 Immunization Schedules. CDC has added the meningococcal disease vaccines along with information about the newly licensed MenACWY-TT/MenB-FHbp (Penbraya™) vaccine. Additionally, the agency created a guide for health care professionals with shared clinical decision-making responsibilities to use when discussing this vaccine with patients not at risk for the disease.
